Clip #10 MPEG
Clip #10 Quicktime
I scheduled a trip to LA and documented a portion of the trip in the morning. It was my intention to take a variety of shots throughout the day and splice them together in Pinnacle and do something more advanced that I had previously. When I got to Union Station, my breakfast appointment called me to see if I was OK as there was a horrible train wreck. I ended up cutting the day short and headed back early. I am just so shocked about how something like that could happen.
Clip #9 - MPEG
Clip #9 - Quicktime
Away from the office and "on the clock" taking care of the kids. A quick highlight of the older brother of the triplets.
Clip #8 MPEG
Clip #8 Quicktime
A drive to the gym while contemplating the pro's and con's of my videoblogging and the power of running.
Terrible camera angles. Sorry. I liked the stream of thought though.
Clip #7 - MPEG
Clip#7 - Quicktime
Friday afternoon reflections driving northbound on the coast highway.
Separately I am trying to figure out the technical problems with both the clip hosting and image quality. To that end I am experimenting a bit with the settings on the cameraphone and I have purchased Quicktime Pro to try and help. Thanks for the patience.
Any comments, tips, guidance, etc. is appreciated.
Clip #6 - While on a quick outing a brief commentary on my experience with the Venture Capital process thus far.
Clip #5 - Some of the tools that make life easy for a self funded startup.
Cheap Computing
Vonage
Roll On White Boards
IPPBX
Clip #4 - Sometimes the universe conspires with you, other times it conspires against you. When we decided to do a startup this year, we also decided to have another child. In that regard the universe conspired with us and gave us not one child but 3. Joy sometimes comes in big packages.
Clip #3 - A brisk walk through the abandoned office space we work in. I may have jinxed it though. As soon as I walked through with the camera, some future tenants swing by to look at things. They didn't think that our propaganda art was very funny either. Hope they let us stay. hehe.

Alright, I guess I am done for today. Brought the clip across from the phone. Set up on server, set up an RSS feed, and thats if for now. The biggest pain so far has been the Sony video format. For some reason, the mp4 file from Sony crashes Winamp. I can get it to play in Quicktime but I am certain that this is going to be a problem. I guess I should be doing this in Quicktime, but I am not a Mac head.
Please note that these clips are personal in nature, but are focused on the activities associated with a for profit business I am working on. As such you could say that this is PR or marketing, and if you have a problem with that, I suggest you tune me out. If you don't have a problem with that, please feel free to enjoy, or hate what comes next.
Impressed by the really cool efforts of the various videobloggers I have decided to take a stab at my own creative inspiration and I am starting a daily vignette of life inside a startup, filmed on my cell phone and distributed over the net. Hope you enjoy. Link to episode #1 will be up later today as will the RSS feed.
